Hydraulic Oscillator

Hydraulic oscillator is to improve the effectiveness of WOB transmission and reduce the friction between drilling tools and borehole through the longitudinal vibration generated by the hydraulic action of drilling fluid, especially in directional drilling to improve WOB transmission and reduce torsional vibration. It is a downhole tool used to solve bottom hole pressure drop and improve WOB transmission. Stable WOB transmission, improve the adjustment ability of bit tool surface, so as to drill further to the target layer. In drilling, there is no need to work too much to adjust the tool surface, keep the tool surface stable and improve the ROP. It can be used with MWD, screw and any bit at the same time

The hydraulic oscillator consists of two parts: oscillator and shocktool. The drilling fluid supplies the hydraulic oscillator with a certain flow rate and pressure energy. When it flows through the 1:2 screw, it drives the screw to rotate, and the screw drives the moving valve disc connected at its lower end to do planar reciprocating motion. During the motion, the staggered area of the moving valve disc and the fixed valve disc changes periodically, resulting in periodic pressure pulse, which drives the spring on the oscillating nipple to produce a certain frequency of axial creep The upper and lower connected drilling tools are driven to produce mild vibration.

The vibration generated by the hydraulic oscillator will not damage the MWD and LWD tools and interfere with the system signal;

Reduce transverse vibration and torsional vibration;

The BHA can be up and down the MWD tool, and its position is relatively free;

It can be used with cone and inlaid bit, without vibration damage to bit and string;

Extend the mission life of PDC bit;

Prevention of WOB concentration and control of tool surface;
